Ingredients
- Tengesi xaak (the Indian sorrel)- 15 gms Mint leaves: 15 gms Chilli: 1 Lemon juice: 1 tbsp Sugar: ½ cup or according to taste Salt: a pinch Water: 2 cups For garnishing: mint leaves and chilli flowers
Method
Step 1
Take the mint leaves, green chilli and grind Add ½ cup of water and strain. Crush the sorrel leaves and boil in the remaining water for about a minute and strain Mix in the lemon juice, sugar and the mint water. Chill. Garnish with mint leaves and chilli flowers and serve. Enjoy with fried chicken.
