Micha Maach Bhaji is a delicious Assamese recipe.
Ingredients
- Dressed prawn: 15 Ginger paste: 1 tsp Garlic paste: 2 tsps Tomato sauce: 1 tbsp Chilli sauce: 2 tsps Honey: 2 tsps
- Rice powder: 2 tsps Salt: to taste Bamboo shoot juice:1 1/2 tbsps Roasted sesame seeds: 1 tsp Mustard oil: 3 tbsps
Method
Step 1
Wash the prawns and drain. With a toothpick prick each prawn in a couple of places and mix well the bamboo shoot juice. Keep covered for 5 minutes. In a small bowl take the tomato sauce,chilli sauce and honey and mix. Heat 3 tbsps oil in a karai.
Step 2
Add the prawn and stir fry. When almost done add the sauce mixture and keep stirring. Sprinkle the rice powder and stir further for a minute. Switch off the gas. Garnish with sesame and serve hot.
