Method
Step 1
1. Boil the masoor dal. 2. Next, heat oil in a kadhai. 3. Throw in some panch phoran and let it splutter. 4. Fry the chopped onions till translucent and add the ginger-garlic paste. 5. Add salt and turmeric and then the cherry tomatoes.
Step 2
When the tomatoes start reducing a bit, pour the dal. Let it cook for 5 minutes before adding the lime leaves. 7. Cook for another 5 minutes so that the flavour of the lime folds in the dal.
